I have a metal allergy, what should I pick?

If nickel bothers you, look for "nickel-free" or "stainless steel" in the description. Earrings with steel or silver hooks are the safer choice. If your skin goes red, take the piece off.

Why does costume jewellery tarnish, and how do I stop it?

Perfume, lotion, sweat and water wear the plating down. Put jewellery on last and take it off first. Remove it for showers, swimming and the gym, and keep it somewhere dry.

How should I store my pieces?

Give each piece its own little pouch or a compartment so nothing rubs. Hang necklaces up and the chains won't tangle.
