tappon.bio seller payment terms: payments go to your own iyzico, PayTR, Stripe or PayPal account; tappon is not a party to the payment.

Draft — requires lawyer review. These terms apply to users who use payment blocks, products, services, donation/tip blocks or payment links on their bio page ("Seller") and are an annex to the Terms of Service. Their purpose is to make clear that tappon is not a payment service provider (Turkish Law No. 6493) and not a party to the sale. Placeholders are shared with the Turkish version.

Version: 0.1 (draft) · Effective: [YÜRÜRLÜK TARİHİ]

1. The short version

  • Payments go directly to your own account at iyzico, PayTR, Stripe, PayPal or another payment institution.
  • tappon never receives, holds or transfers the money; it is not a payment institution, e-money institution or intermediary.
  • You and your buyer are the parties to the sale. Products, delivery, invoicing, withdrawal, refunds and buyer complaints are your responsibility.

2. tappon's role

2.1. tappon provides software that lets you place a payment button or link on your bio page. The payment takes place between the buyer and your payment institution, on that institution's infrastructure.

2.2. tappon:

  • does not accept, collect, hold in escrow or transfer payment funds from buyers or from you;
  • does not give payment orders or open payment accounts on your or the buyer's behalf;
  • is not a party to the agreement between you and your payment institution;
  • [KARAR 3: takes no commission] on your sales; our only revenue is the tappon Pro subscription (₺799 monthly / ₺7,990 yearly).

2.3. tappon provides no payment service within the scope of Law No. 6493 on Payment and Securities Settlement Systems, Payment Services and Electronic Money Institutions, and is not licensed under that Law.

2.4. If you enter API keys or account details of your payment institution in tappon, they are used only to create the payment button/link on your page and are stored [TEKNİK TEYİT: encrypted]. Where possible use a restricted key that can only create payments; do not enter keys with refund or transfer rights.

3. Seller responsibilities

3.1. Payment account: you open your account with your payment institution, follow its rules, pay its fees and handle chargebacks, disputes and account restrictions yourself. tappon is not responsible if your account is closed or your funds are held.

3.2. Seller details: you show buyers your name/company, contact details and (if you are a trader or tradesperson) your address and MERSIS/tax details. Information duties under Law No. 6563 and its regulation are yours. tappon offers a "Seller details" field for your page.

3.3. Consumer law: if you sell to consumers, all obligations under Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation — pre-contract information, distance sales contract, right of withdrawal, refunds, defective goods/services and warranty — are yours.

3.4. Tax and invoicing: issuing invoices and meeting tax obligations for your sales is your responsibility.

3.5. Lawful goods and services: everything you sell must be legal and comply with the Acceptable Use and Content Rules. Activities that need a permit, licence or authorisation (e.g. fundraising, health products, financial services) require you to hold it.

3.6. Buyer data: you are the controller of your buyers' personal data. Data sent to your payment institution is the responsibility of that institution and you.

3.7. Delivery and support: delivering goods/services on time and as promised, and supporting your buyers, is your responsibility.

4. Buyer complaints

4.1. Buyers direct all requests and complaints about a sale (not delivered, defective, return, withdrawal, refund) to the Seller and, if needed, to the Seller's payment institution. tappon is not a party and cannot issue refunds.

4.2. We forward buyer complaints that reach us to the Seller and point the buyer to the Seller's contact details and to the payment institution.

4.3. If a complaint alleges fraud or a breach of the Acceptable Use and Content Rules, the notice-and-takedown process there applies; tappon may temporarily disable the payment block.

4.4. On a proper request by competent authorities or payment institutions we may share the Seller's account details within legal limits.

5. Notice shown on the page

On pages with payment blocks, tappon shows buyers:

"This payment goes directly to the seller's [payment institution] account. tappon.bio is not a party to the sale or the payment; contact the seller about products, delivery and refunds."

6. Indemnity

You cover reasonable losses tappon suffers from third-party claims arising from your sales, your goods or services or your breach of these terms, in proportion to your fault. This does not limit the statutory rights of Sellers who are consumers.

7. Changes and termination

These terms change under the procedure in the Terms of Service. You can stop using payment blocks at any time; obligations from completed sales continue.
