tappon.bio acceptable use and content rules: what may not be published on your page and which uses are not allowed.

Draft — requires lawyer review. Annex to the Terms of Service. Placeholders are shared with the Turkish version.

Version: 0.1 (draft) · Effective: [YÜRÜRLÜK TARİHİ]

1. Purpose

We want tappon to be a place where anyone can present themselves and their work freely. So we do not allow content that deceives or harms visitors or breaks the law. These rules cover everything on your bio page: text, images, sites you link to, products, forms and redirects.

2. Prohibited content and conduct

Fraud and deception

  • Phishing, fake login pages, traps to collect ID or card details.
  • Fake giveaways, fake promotions, "money doubling", pyramid/Ponzi schemes, advance-fee fraud.
  • Impersonating a person, brand, organisation or public authority; using a fake verification badge.
  • Hiding a link's real destination to mislead (e.g. a harmless-looking link redirecting to a malicious site).

Misleading content

  • Unproven health, cure, weight-loss or income claims; products claimed to treat diseases.
  • Unlicensed investment advice; financial, crypto or forex promotions promising guaranteed returns.
  • Fake reviews, fake social proof, hidden advertising (paid promotion not disclosed as such).

Illegal goods and services

  • Drugs, prescription medicines, weapons, ammunition, explosives.
  • Counterfeit, fake or smuggled goods; stolen goods.
  • Unlicensed gambling and illegal betting.
  • Unauthorised fundraising (campaigns that legally need a permit only with that permit).
  • Fake documents, diplomas, IDs; selling accounts or followers.
  • Carrying on licensed activities without a licence.

Harmful content

  • Any sexual abuse of children (removed immediately and reported to the authorities).
  • Explicit sexual content and obscenity. [KARAR 7: allow adult-oriented but non-explicit pages behind a "sensitive content" warning]
  • Incitement to violence, terrorism or crime; hate speech; harassment and threats.
  • Sharing private information about people without permission (doxxing); violating privacy.
  • Content encouraging self-harm.

Rights infringement

  • Unauthorised use of others' copyrighted content, trademarks or personality rights.

Technical abuse

  • Malware, viruses, crypto-mining code.
  • Spam, bulk unsolicited messages, fake traffic, inflating statistics.
  • Testing or bypassing the Service's security (except authorised reports, see section 7).
  • Using the Service as an intermediate redirect to evade other services' abuse filters.

Visitor data

  • Collecting visitor data without a privacy notice or lawful basis; asking for special-category data, card data or national ID numbers.
  • Sending commercial electronic messages without consent.

3. How to report

Use the "Report" link at the bottom of every bio page or write to [ŞİKÂYET E-POSTA]. Please include:

  • The full address (URL) of the page or link,
  • What is unlawful and why,
  • For rights claims, information showing you are the rights holder or authorised to act,
  • Your contact details.

You do not need an account to report. We do not share the reporter's identity with the page owner unless the law requires it.

4. Notice and takedown (Law No. 5651)

Under Turkish Law No. 5651 tappon is a hosting provider; it has no duty to pre-screen content but acts when notified of unlawful content.

Step Time
Acknowledgement of the report Automatic, immediate
Fraud, phishing, malware, child abuse, risk to life Review and, if needed, removal within [SÜRE: 4–24] hours
Other reports Review within [SÜRE: 3] business days
Court, public prosecutor or competent authority order Within the time set in the order, otherwise immediately

Outcomes:

  1. Clear violation: the content or block is removed; the page owner is told why.
  2. Unclear: the page owner is notified and asked to explain or fix within [SÜRE: 48 hours].
  3. No violation: the reporter is told why.

For personality-rights claims, your right to apply to a criminal judgeship of peace under Article 9 of Law No. 5651 is unaffected.

5. Page owner's right to appeal

A user whose content was removed or account restricted may appeal to [ŞİKÂYET E-POSTA] within 14 days of the notice. Someone other than the original decision-maker reviews it within [SÜRE: 5 business days]. If the appeal succeeds, the content is restored. Appeals against court or authority orders go to that authority.

6. Enforcement

We act step by step:

  1. Warning and time to fix,
  2. Removal of the specific content or block,
  3. Temporary disabling of certain features (e.g. forms, payment blocks, blue tick),
  4. Account suspension,
  5. As a last resort, account closure.

In the urgent cases in section 4 and for repeated serious violations we may skip steps. Owners of closed accounts may export their data within [SÜRE: 30] days under section 13 of the Terms of Service unless legally barred, except in cases of fraud and child abuse.

7. Security vulnerability reports

Found a vulnerability? Tell us at [email protected]. We will not take legal action over good-faith reports that do not harm user data and give us reasonable time before public disclosure.

8. Cooperation with authorities

We share information with competent authorities when legally required and properly requested. We report child abuse content and threats to life to the authorities.
